As a Crawford County native, Gentry Wahlmeier has a passion for representing the citizens of the River Valley.
Gentry received his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Arkansas where he was the president of the Interfraternity Council, Alumni Director for the Student Alumni Board, and on the Dean’s Student Leadership Advisory Committee. Gentry’s career in law actually began before he pursued his law degree. Gentry worked at Capp Law Firm in Ozark and for Circuit Judge John Scott while he was an undergraduate. Gentry realized he could make a difference in his community by pursuing his legal passion further and went on to attain his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
While attending the University of Arkansas, Gentry was employed by the Howell Law Firm.
Following graduation from law school, Gentry moved back to Crawford County. Shortly thereafter, Gentry passed both the Arkansas and Oklahoma Bar Exams and began his career with the Howell Law Firm.
In November of 2018, Gentry married his college sweetheart Paige Carr of Van Buren.
In January of 2020, Gentry acquired the Howell Law Firm and renamed it Wahlmeier Law Firm.
In January of 2021, Gentry acquired Capp Law Firm.
Gentry is experienced in various areas of the law ranging from criminal and civil litigation, to real property, business law, probate, and estate planning.
Gentry is excited to handle complex and contentious cases. He enjoys practicing law, and that is clear to his clients. He is not afraid of going into the courtroom and battling out a tough case.
Gentry is a problem solver who does not lose sight of his client’s goals. He believes that a lot of people lose their perspective when they are involved in litigation. As an attorney, Gentry finds the best possible outcome for his clients.
